John Bibby is ARCH's CEO.


John has worked in local government since 1974 and was until 2014 Director of Housing & Community Services at the City of Lincoln Council, where he had responsibility for both the Council's strategic housing and housing landlord functions in managing the City Council's stock of just under 8,000 council homes.


John is a keen supporter of collaborative working and was also instrumental with others in setting up ARCH.


John's previous housing experience included spells at two metropolitan borough councils in the North West - St Helens Borough Council, where he started his housing career, and Sefton Borough Council on Merseyside. John has also worked in the former Welsh district of Alyn & Deeside.

Outcome focused and results driven, Gez is an approachable and experienced consultant and trainer. He has worked in a variety of operational and strategic roles, with a proven track record of delivery over his 25 years involvement in social housing.


He's a people person who has established positive and effective working relationships with all those he's engaged with. His success derives from a combination of being a policy 'wonk', love of process and flexible application of Prince2 learning. An irresistible combination - translating the 'bigger picture' into effective operational delivery.


Tenants are at the heart of what Gez does. He has a track record of transforming service in partnership with tenants, as well as undertaking various resident involvement activity, such as training and reviewing resident involvement services. He worked with residents, TPAS and CIH in the design, development and delivery of Quality Assured Scrutiny accreditation offer.


Gez is currently working with HouseMark managing the Consultancy Service.


Living in Derbyshire his passions are his family and Aston Villa.
