We are pleased to announce that we will be running a special
webinar on anti-social behaviour (ASB) and the community
The Social Housing White Paper and Charter
for Social Housing Residents set out the government's intention to
support tenants facing ASB and crime and proposed new social
housing Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) to measure landlords'
performance in responsible neighbourhood management and tackling
The Government promises to clarify the different
responsibilities that police, local authorities and social
landlords have in tackling ASB to make it clear to tenants who can
give them the most appropriate support and assistance including
information on the Community Trigger arrangements (also known as
the ASB Case Review).
In a special webinar to be held on 14 September we will hear
more about the Government's plans from senior officials at the
Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government and take a
closer look at the Community Trigger and how one of our member
councils has signed up to the ASB Pledge to help tackle ASB
and how Neighbourhood Housing Officers at another of our member
councils are helping tackle ASB in their area.
The event will be open to tenant representatives, elected
members and senior officers from ARCH member councils.
Make a note of the date in your diary and watch out for further
information and details of how you can reserve your place at this
event in future ARCH bulletins.
