The Housing Ombudsman introduced a new Complaint Handling Code
which came into effect from 1 September 2020 and we have previously
drawn attention to the new Code through the ARCH Bulletin and the
ARCH website.
The Housing Ombudsman has been running a series of webinars on
the new Complaint Handling Code, which are proving very popular
with landlords and the Housing Ombudsman has arranged a special
webinar coming up on 30 September that is aimed specifically at
tenants and residents which may be of interest to tenant
representatives, tenant panels and members of tenant and resident
associations in ARCH member councils.
This special webinar is scheduled for 11.30am - 12.30pm on
Wednesday 30 September 2020. Tenants and residents who are
interested in learning more about the Housing Ombudsman's new
Complaint Handling Code and what it will mean for council
landlords, tenants and residents can register to attend through the
