ARCH green deal event

20 May 2013

CIH London Office

Improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of council homes is among the top investment priorities for most ARCH member councils. Energy suppliers are required to invest in carbon-saving measures. The government's green deal offers incentives to owners, tenants and landlords to carry out specified energy saving improvements. How much help can these initiatives provide to council investment plans?

Beginning with lunch, this afternoon event sees Martin Wheatley, Strategic Adviser to British Gas and Andrew Eagles, Managing Director, Sustainable Homes giving short presentations followed by a lively discussion session.

Organisations are entitled to send a member as well as an officer and a tenant representative. Up to 3 people from each member organisation may attend.

Who should attend?

This event is designed for directors, chairs of boards and executive directors and heads of departments.
