100-year celebrations continue 05/09/2019 Labelled as Development, Legislation, Tenants

To celebrate the Addison Act and 100 years of council housing, Rotherham Council have issued a special edition of "Home Matters" their magazine for council tenants and leaseholders.

The magazine highlights some of the first council housing built in Rotherham together with the stories of some of the people who are proud to live in Rotherham's council housing and some of Rotherham's "community stars" who go out of their way to help others and make Rotherham a nicer place to live in.

Stella Parkin, Rotherham's representative on the ARCH Tenant Group tells her own story and explains why she is so passionate about making sure the tenants' voice is heard.
