We are pleased to welcome the London Borough of Hackney as a member of
the Association and extend a very warm welcome to elected members,
tenants and officers of the council.
ARCH aims to provide the stock retained sector with a strong
voice and we are beginning to have a strong influence on the
housing debate. With the Government poised to bring forward a
long-awaited Social Housing White Paper following consultation on
the Social Housing Green Paper, now more than ever, it is important
that we continue to make the case for council housing.
We welcome our colleagues from the London Borough of Hackney and
trust that elected members, tenants and officers will contribute
fully to the work of ARCH and make the most of the benefits of ARCH
membership and the ARCH network of stock retained councils.
