Government have provided further updates to the initial guidance
on the Homes for Ukraine scheme, outlining the role of councils
across England in supporting the scheme.
The latest updated
guidance published on 20 May 2022 includes new sections on
re-matching, safeguarding, and other amended information on child
benefit, self-employment and opening a bank account.
This latest update
follows updated guidance on 29 April which included significant
updates to accommodation checks, virtual ID process for Disclosure
and Barring Service, funding mechanisms and grant conditions,
access to EOI data and data returns from councils.
