In the last issue of the Bulletin we reported that DLUHC had
published proposals to implement Awaab's Law by introducing
mandatory timescales for responding to hazards to health or safety
in the home. The consultation runs until 5 March, but DLUHC
officials have asked for any immediate reactions from councils on
the feasibility of the timescales proposed. If you have any

We will, of course, still be able to take later comments into
account in the full response we are preparing, to meet the
consultation deadline.
