Repowering London is a
not-for-profit energy system innovator helping communities move
towards cleaner and fairer energy. They are currently working
on a project to develop a service that makes it easier for people
living in blocks of flats (including mixed tenure) to engage with
the retrofit of their buildings and for landlords and developers to
understand the specific options for their building may be. The idea
is to bring resident needs into the retrofit design process,
increasing engagement and uptake of low-carbon energy solutions.
The work is part of the Inclusive Smart Solutions
programme - led by the Energy
Systems Catapult and funded by the Department of Energy Security
and Net Zero.
They are doing
semi-structured interviews with potential clients (landlords,
councils, housing associations, building owners, managing
agents etc.) to gather their thoughts on the
service. The interviews are informal and will take approx.
45-minutes. Councils interested in being part of the research
should contact Sam Bavin via email at sam.bavin@repowering.org.uk
or phone 07762902119.
