Back for 2024, the ARCH Tenants Group
Conference will be held on Thursday 3 October 2024
at the New York Stadium, Rotherham.
Working with tenant representatives and officers from Rotherham
Council, the ARCH Tenants Group is delighted to be bringing back
their annual tenants conference this year, which will be held at
New York Stadium, in Rotherham City Centre.
We're delighted to be able to include here details of the
programme for the conference.
Sessions will include:
- Tenant Satisfaction Measures and Regulatory changes from the
Regulator of Social Housing.
- Resident engagement from Tpas.
- Update on tenant health and safety from the Building Safety
Regulator.
Further details of the sessions, including the afternoon workshops
will be available in due course.
Why you should attend:
Attendees will:
- Receive up-to-date information on key topics affecting council
tenants and landlords.
- Have time to explore and debate how they can have a greater
influence on the way services are delivered by their landlord.
- Connect with like-minded tenants from across the country.
How to Book
ARCH member councils are entitled to 5 free places (preferably for
tenants) per organisation on a first-come, first-served basis. Any
additional places are charged at £100 + VAT. Please note, if your
council has a tenant representative on the ARCH Tenants Group,
their place is additional to your 5 free places, and their place
has already been booked.

Places are limited, so we advise that you book as soon as
possible.
ARCH Community Champion Awards
At this year's conference, the ARCH Tenant Group will be
announcing the winners of the ARCH Community Champion Award which
recognises the dedication, willingness, inspiration and devotion
that our tenants freely give to others, and it is hoped that this
can motivate and inspire others as well as give them examples of
how they can contribute to their own community.
In 2024 there will be two ARCH Community Champion Awards, one of
which will be specifically for those aged under 25.
The awards recognise individuals or groups who have dedicated
their time to making a difference in their community and to the
lives of people living in social housing. They don't necessarily
have to be part of a formal tenant panel, tenant & residents
association, group, committee, or forum to be nominated. Nominees
can be a tenant, a member of the tenant's household, a community
group or anyone contributing to the Housing Revenue Account.

The deadline for entries is Monday 2
September 2024.
The announcement of this year's winners, and the presentations,
will take place during the conference.
